What inspired you to work in the insurance industry, and what’s the most rewarding part of your role?
I wanted to work in an industry where I can help people with something they need daily and ease their financial stress after a loss. The most rewarding part is seeing clients’ relief when I tell them we’ve saved them money on their premium or when they feel at peace knowing their carrier is stepping in during a tough time.
If you were an insurance policy, what would your coverage highlights include?
Reliable, quick to respond, and doesn’t take himself too seriously.
What’s the most common misconception people have about insurance, and how do you clear it up?
Many believe we set the prices. I explain that agencies don’t determine premiums—we present rates set by carriers. Our role is to represent these companies and help clients choose the best fit for their needs, whether that’s based on price, coverage, or claims service.
If your team went on a road trip together, what role would you play?
I’d be the driver! I love driving anywhere and everywhere, and I guarantee a smooth ride.
What’s your go-to hobby or activity when you’re not at work?
My wife and I enjoy playing video games together, discovering new places to eat, and hanging out with our two cats, Batman and William Turner.
